Privacy Policy — FastTrax

Short version: FastTrax is a desktop app. We collect minimal data, don't sell it, and don't track you. License validation makes one network call to verify your key — that's it.

02 — Data we collect

What We Collect

At purchase (via Paddle):

Your name and email address
Billing country (for tax purposes)
Payment details — handled entirely by Paddle; we never see your card number

At license activation:

Your license key
An anonymized device identifier (to enforce the 2-device limit)
Your email address (to associate the activation with your purchase)

What we do NOT collect:

No usage analytics No crash reports No music data No Planning Center content No Ableton project data No ad identifiers

FastTrax reads your Planning Center service plans using your own credentials via the Planning Center API. That data never passes through our servers.

To deliver your license key and DMG download link after purchase
To validate your license when FastTrax launches
To enforce activation limits (max 2 devices per license)
To respond to support requests
To comply with tax and legal obligations via Paddle

04 — Third parties

Third-Party Services

Paddle processes all payments and acts as Merchant of Record. Paddle's privacy policy governs payment data: paddle.com/legal/privacy.

Planning Center Online — FastTrax connects using your own API credentials. We do not store, transmit, or access your Planning Center data.

Ableton Live — FastTrax writes project files to your local machine only. We have no access to your projects or audio files.

05 — Retention

Data Retention

We retain your email and license record for as long as your license is active or as required by law. Request deletion at any time by emailing support@fasttraxapp.com. Note: deleting your record deactivates your license.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. Email support@fasttraxapp.com to exercise any of these rights.

07 — International

International Users

FastTrax is operated from the United States. Data may be transferred to and processed in the US. We comply with applicable data protection laws including GDPR where applicable.

Children's Privacy

FastTrax is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the updated date above.
